Reached for it half asleep at 6am and it does the one job a morning robe has, warm enough for the AC chill, light enough to forget. You will stop reaching for your old fleece one.
Wore the slip alone to sleep and added the robe for wandering the house, its a system honeslty
The delivery guy has seen my worst, but now I can answer the door looking composed in ten seconds. It covers properly and the belt actually stays tied, but the deep V means composed is doing some work in that sentence.
The wrap sat snug across my chest. The belt helped. I would prefer more room there.
Moves well
I was surprised by the quality when it arrived. The silk felt luxurious and so soft for its price and it fits perfectly. For bigger bust girls I would definitely size up. I'm glad I purchased in L. I can't wait to receive the rest of my orders from Darette 🙂
held my phone up to compare the product page against the actual robe hanging on my door and the match is exact, same champagne warmth, same lace placement where the front crosses. i bought it for getting-ready photos before my friends wedding and it reads on camera the way it reads on the site. the satin has enough weight to hang properly instead of floating around like cheap kimonos do. L drapes generously on me. after the wedding weekend it became my regular morning robe, which was not the plan but here we are.
Heavier satin than the price suggested, hangs properly.
expected more heft from the photos!! its a summer weight robe, know that going in. drapes beautifully though, M fits roomy.

Bought two, one for me and one for my best friend before her wedding morning, and I will defend this decision as my best gifting move of the year! The satin photographs like something triple the price, the lace at the crossing front reads elegant not costume. She teared up which was the point. Mine has since survived two months of daily wear and machine washing on delicate, the belt loops have not given up, the color has not dulled. If you need a bridesmaid or best friend gift that will actually get used after the event, this is it. M fit us both differently and beautifully.

folds down smaller than a t-shirt and comes out of the suitcase with only soft creases that fall out fast. took it on two work trips this month, the hotel robe stayed on its hook.
got it for lazy sunday mornings and the champagne against my linen sheets looks like a magazin spread, one shoulder seam arrived with a loose thread tho.
three washes... still falls the same way it did new
the M fits my size 12 self with wrap to spare. The belt is what makes it work for every body, tie it where you want.

The wide sleeves slipped down my arms while I made coffee. After folding the cuffs, its been fine. True to size.
first wash, cold, and the water came out faintly pink. my white pillowcase in the same load now has a blush tint. robe itself looks fine but wash it alone, learn from my laundry
Dye transfer on first wash shouldn't happen even in cold water, and your pillowcase paid for it. We're adding a first-wash warning while the dye fixing gets sorted at the factory. Email us, we'll cover the robe and the pillowcase.
Hangs flat as a shirt, packs flatter. Highly recommend for small closets, the lace edge does catch on rough hangers so use a smooth one
No tight shoulders
Satin plus winter air usually equals crackling and clinging, this one has stayed neutral through a month of AC and dry evenings. My hair is greatful.
AC in my apartment runs arctic and this is the exact right layer for it 🧊 you need one if your building also overcorrects.
I wore this over a camisole while my hair and makeup were being done. The robe has no built-in support, which is exactly what I expected from a wrap, but the belt kept the front closed well enough with people coming in and out. The sleeves are generous and did not catch on the chair. it landed just below my knee. It photographs softly without feeling heavy on my shoulders.
Comfy, belt needed retie
Short at 5'8.
The skirt opens enough at the front that I could walk upstairs without gathering it in my hands.
Wore it for two hours before brunch. The self-tie belt held the crossover in place!

It is a satin robe, so July is asking a lot of it, Meera. We should be placing it as a cool-morning piece rather than a summer one.

Gave my friend the cream set before her wedding weekend. She took a medium and it looked lovely in her getting-ready photos, didnt seem like a risky gift. Take your rings off before you pull it on
