SIZE is your underbust. CUP is the difference between your bust and your underbust — two separate measurements, and both matter.

How to measure. Wear a thin unpadded bra, stand straight, breathe normally. Run the tape around your ribcage right under the bust — flat, snug, not pulled tight. That number is your SIZE. Then measure around the fullest part of your bust and subtract the first number. That difference is your CUP.

Between two. Take the smaller SIZE — a band that gives has nothing left to hold with. Take the larger CUP.

Shipping. Every piece is packed with care and shipped worldwide, tracked the whole way — free over $89 ($10 under, Australia $13). We prepare your order in 2–3 business days, and it usually reaches you within 10–12 business days. A tracking link is sent the moment it leaves us.

Returns. You have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange. As these are intimate pieces, they need to come back unworn and unwashed, with tags attached and the hygiene liner intact on briefs and thongs (please try on over your own underwear). If anything arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll make it right.

Most pieces run M to XL. A few also come in S (40–48 kg / 88–105 lb) or XXL (65–72 kg / 143–160 lb) — where they do, the whole size run shifts a little, so go by the note on that piece rather than this table.

Weight is the better guide here. Slips and robes are cut to skim, so a bust measurement tells you less than it does for a bra. Between two sizes, the smaller one usually still falls right.

Is it real silk?

Yes. Both faces are 100% mulberry silk; the fill inside is a soft wadding. We don’t quote certificates we don’t hold, so you’ll find the weight and the construction on this page instead.

Will it stay on?

Yes, and you decide how snug. The wide band wraps round your head and fastens at the back, so you set the fit once and it stays where you put it, on your back or your side.

Does it block all light?

It’s the wide one, cut deep at the nose, so a bright room goes dark rather than dim. It isn’t sealed to the face, and we’d rather tell you that here than have you find out.

How do I wash it?

Cool water, a silk-friendly detergent, no wringing. Press the water out and dry it flat in the shade.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are packed within 1–2 business days and usually reach you within 9–14 days, tracked the whole way. Over $89, shipping is on us; under that it’s $10 (Australia $13).

How is my order packaged?

Plainly, on purpose — a simple unbranded parcel with nothing printed on the outside. What’s inside stays between us.

What if it doesn’t fit?

You have 30 days from delivery. Unworn, unwashed, tags on. There’s no prepaid label — you post it back to our New Zealand address at your own cost (if the mistake was ours, we cover it). Don’t want to post it back? Write to aniya@darette.com and we can usually agree a partial refund instead.
