With my hair in a loose braid, this stayed around it instead of ending up beside the pillow by morning. I used the navy one for three nights running and found it on my braid each time.
i usually wake up warm and take hair ties off before bed. i tried one of these with a loose bun during a humid week though. it did not make the back of my neck sweaty, which surprised me. it was cool against my neck when i put it on. by morning my hair was still up, but the band had not left that sore tight spot i get from thin elastics. i have fine hair, so i use two wraps. it slides out quickly when i am making coffee and has not pulled out little hairs.
The silk is gentle on the few hairs around my temples.
I washed one after wearing it on my wrist for a few days, mostly because it picked up sunscreen at the beach. I put a tiny amount of gentle soap in cool water, swished it around, and pressed it between two towels. It dried flat overnight on the bathroom counter. The elastic still had the same spring the next morning and the silk did not wrinkle badly. I would not throw these in with regular laundry, so that is a bit more effort than a drugstore hair tie. Still, the three in the box make that care feel manageable!!
I put one in after showering at 7 a.m. and wore it until dinner. My hair had a soft bend rather than the deep line my usual elastic leaves after a long day! It is as described.

My thick hair takes one wrap, and the scrunchie held a low bun through a full workday.
Comfortable on my wrist... though a little loose for my morning run.
The silk is lovely, but even with two wraps it loosens on my very fine ponytail by lunchtime.
Fine hair and a wide silk band is the one pairing this set does not solve, Whitney. Two wraps should hold, and clearly it does not. A narrower band is something we are looking at for exactly this reason.
