Before You Order

Questions, answered

Which size should I take?
Our sleepwear is cut to drape, not cling. Between sizes? Take the larger one — the silhouette rewards a little room.
How do I care for it?
Hand wash cool with a gentle detergent — or a lingerie bag on a delicate cycle — then reshape while damp and keep it away from the dryer. Silk rewards the extra minute.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are packed within 1–2 business days and usually reach you within 9–14 days, tracked the whole way. Over $89, shipping is on us; under that it’s $10 (Australia $13).
How is my order packaged?
Plainly, on purpose — a simple unbranded parcel with nothing printed on the outside. What’s inside stays between us.
What if it doesn’t fit?
You have 30 days from delivery. Unworn, unwashed, tags on. There’s no prepaid label — you post it back to our New Zealand address at your own cost (if the mistake was ours, we cover it). Don’t want to post it back? Write to aniya@darette.com and we can usually agree a partial refund instead.
Anything extra with my order?
Orders over $50 include a complimentary gift — upgraded at $100, $150 and $200 — added automatically at checkout. No code needed.

for the curvy girls

XL fit my hips with room to spare because of the a-line. flash photo in my bathroom at 1am, real life lighting, still looked good. the satin has just a little stretch so trust the chart

C
Calliope H.

felt cute, took the pic, posting it. the neckline mesh is sheer, but the satin part is fully opaque.

S

back view for reference

posting the back so bigger girls can see how the crossed straps sit. they dont dig, the elastic has give. bathroom mirror, no filter

got the pair

Slip and the mesh robe together. Laid them both out when they arrived, the robe weighs nothing, like actually nothing. Wearing the two together feels like a hotel robe moment but better.

Bianca F.
hotel trip photo

packed it for a two night hotel stay with my own robe thrown over. the slip came out of the packing cube with barely a crease which surprised me

T

the back

crossed straps over an open back, which you cannot tell from the front until you turn around. my favorite kind of detail, quiet from the front, not from the back

the flowers are raised

Close up so you can see the lace flowers actually sit on top of the satin, they are not printed. The mesh V is finer than i expected. This is the detail that made me keep it over two other slips i was deciding between.

C
Coralie W.

morning stretch photo my sister took. it moves with you, nothing pulls at the shoulders!

M
Marguerite S.

making coffee in it like its a personality trait now. the a-line skims instead of clinging which is why it works for actual living

sat on the edge of my bed scrolling in it for an hour and forgot i had it on. thats the fabric review

robe over slip is the move

the mesh robe over the slip reads very boudoir in the best way. i wear the robe open, it drifts around when you walk. worth getting both if you are on the fence.

Anniversary win

husband bought it for me from my hints, he got the size right and everything!. the champagne reads bridal without being costume

S

bought the robe separate later cause i regretted not getting the pair. they belong together.

size up if between

The satin only gives a little, but the bust still ran snug on my usual medium. The listing does say go up when between sizes, i just did not listen. Exchange was easy at least.

Adeline, you are the second person this month to out-stubborn the size note, so you are in good company. Between sizes this one wants the bigger number, the satin has very little give. Glad the exchange treated you well.

the mesh v means no gaping at the chest when you lean over. whoever cut this understood.

handle the robe gently

The mesh robe snagged on my bracelet the first time i put it on and pulled a thread. My fault probably but be aware, it is as delicate as it looks. The slip itself is sturdier than the robe.

Noelle, the robe is the fine-boned one of the pair, jewellery off is honestly the safest way in. A pulled thread can usually be eased back through with a pin rather than cut. If it bothers you still, write in and we will look after you.
