No creases pressed into my shoulders when I wake, and the open back means no seam lines on my spine either. Small luxuries, real ones.
First apartment entirely mine, this was the housewarming gift to myself. Wine silk for wine evenings.
The dense weave gives it swing, it moves a half-second behind you like a good dress does. 2XL drapes properly.
Under warm lamps the bordeaux goes nearly black-cherry, in morning sun it lightens to true wine. Both versions are gorgeous and I feel like I own two slips. XL sits right.
Cool through the summer stretch as promised. In my drafty January bedroom it needed a robe over it, silk is not a heater. Noting so your expectations land right. The M fits like it was cut off my measurements.
Open cardigan over it, sandals, dinner on a patio! The open back reads as a design feature in public, not an escape. Silk pulls double shifts if you let it.
Two weeks, zero irritation, and my skin usually finds something to protest about.
fall asleep faster, wake up less, no other variables changed, take that as you will
Yes it creases in a heap, hang it while you brush your teeth and its smooth by morning, definately not a real problem.
Rolled in a packing cube thru two connections, worn five nights, zero damage, deffinately travel grade.
satin never
In any real light the blush shows everything underneath. Nude shapewear or nothing, plan accordingly. Wish the listing rated opacity by color.
Accurate, the blush at this weight shows what's under it in real light. The bordeaux and noir don't. Per-color opacity is being added to the page so the next buyer chooses with open eyes.
cool at midnight!
Mine arrived in a slim box with crease lines at the hem. I hung the Blush M in the bathroom while I showered and it looked fine by that evening.
synthetic satin stays the temperature of the room, silk becomes the temperature of you. thats the entire difference and its worth every dollar of the gap. noir XL, drapes like poured liquid
Metal sliders, hand-rolled edges, the lace attached with an even stitch... someone sweated the details. The strap join on the open-back side sits slightly twisted on mine, a true-to-size fit otherwise. Small flaw, noted honestly.
Ten minutes in cool water with gentle soap, roll in a towel, hang. It rewards the tiny effort by looking new every single time, four washes and counting. The bordeaux has not bled once, which my burgundy towels cannot claim.
a loose thread at the hem AND the lace join on arrival!! snipped both and nothing unraveled. At $89 i shouldnt be doing finishing work at my kitchen table.
Two loose threads on arrival at $89 means that piece skipped a QC step. Your kitchen table shouldn't be our finishing department. Discount on your next order if you write in, and the batch is flagged.
My partner noticed the back. I bought the Blush M because it feels nice after a shower. I like it with bare feet and a book
i packed the noir m for our five-night trip to cancun. it takes almost no room and looked good after being hung up. the open back is lovely, although the lace can catch if you rush. 🌴
i gave the bordeaux l to a friend turning 35. she is 5'9 and said it fit comfortably through the chest. the colour is deeper than bright red and the back looks pretty under her robe.
I wore my Noir one for almost a year, so I bought Blush in the same L. The newer one feels just as soft, but the neckline sits a little looser. Still happy to have both, though the sizing was not identical
The M straps adjusted to my short torso and did not slide off during sleep. That matters
I expected a shiny costume fabric. Instead, the Blush M felt cool and soft after my shower. The hand wash label is a little fussy. It looks good.
Bought the Bordeaux XL six weeks after having my daughter. Nothing with a tight waistband sounded appealing. This slips on easily and leaves room at my middle without feeling huge. I do wear a robe over it when family visits because the back is so open. It fits perfectly.
i didnt expect $98 to feel reasonable for something i only wear at home. the noir m changed my mind once i felt it though. it is cool and smooth without being flimsy. the open back is very open, not for houseguests. the length is mid thigh. after a cool hand wash, it dried flat overnight with no obvious marks. the crossed back has held its shape so far. still pricey... but not a regret.
The Noir slip was cool against my skin after a late shower. It feels light, smooth, and not overly shiny.
It feels cooler than cotton during hot flashes. But the L is shorter than I prefer.
I ordered the Blush L for the week after abdominal surgery. Pulling a shirt over my head was not comfortable, and button pajamas pressed in the wrong places. I could step into this and leave the straps alone. It stayed cool in the hospital room, which was overheated at night. I am 5'4 and it reached mid thigh. The open back did make me want a robe whenever nurses came in, and I would have preferred a little more coverage there. Still, it was easier to wear than anything else I packed, especially during the first three days at home.
i have washed the noir one four times by hand and the fabric is still smooth. no rough spots, no fading that i can see. i dry it flat on a towel, then hang it for an hour before bed
