lilac against morning light, no filter needed, but the real win is the smocked back, means i can breathe deep in it

The slip goes past my ankle like the listing says, i am 5'5 in a medium. It makes getting up feel ceremonial. Robe over it and suddenly my hallway is a corridor in a castle.
sat by the window in it all morning doing absolutely nothing productive... ten out of ten.
plum set mirror check. the robe closes deep so nothing gapes when you sit.
got the set. the robe sleeves are dramatic in the best way, like wearing a very soft opinion.
the plum set with tea before work is the routine now. the slip doesnt wrinkle from sleeping in it which is sorcery

wearing just the slip because summer. the bodice holds its own without anything over it, this was the test.
Two photos of the embroidery because it deserves them. The flowers sit over sheer panels and the workmanship is even all the way across. This is the part you cannot judge from product photos, so here.
robe worn off the shoulders at the window, as intended by whoever designed this. the plum is paler than the bordeaux obviously but it holds color in sunlight
this is the dressier version of the bodice and it shows in person. wore it the whole weekend the ac was broken, the skirt is light as anything
back view because the robe drapes like wings from behind. my partner took this without me knowing, kept it because the fabric fall is exactly why i bought it
hung the plum to photograph the bow and straps. the ribbon ties are real ribbon, not that stiff fake stuff.
if you want subtle sleepwear this is not it. if you want to feel like minor royalty while eating cereal, order now

true to size in the M. the underbust seam sits where it should which never happens for me. highly recommend if you are long in the torso
ordered a second color before finishing this review, that should tell you everything!
if you are deciding, get the set. the robe is half the magic and buying it later costs more than doing it once
Expected a deeper purple from the product photos, mine reads more lilac. Still pretty, kept it, but if you want moody go bordeaux. Screens lie a little on this one.
Federica, honest note. The plum is a dusty lilac in daylight and it photographs deeper under warm light, which is what the studio shots use. Bordeaux is the moody one of the family. We will look at adding a daylight photo to the listing.
