I have the kind of skin that files complaints about most lace, but the scalloped edge here lies flat and behaves. Wore it through a whole travel day, plane included, no marks and no itching. The mocha color is richer in person.
Champagne leans creamier than the site shows... expected more shimmer, got more cream. Still keeping it.
bought this before a trip and the briefs are what impressed me. satin front, lace sides, and they stayed put through two long train rides. no rolling waistband, no creeping. the bra is lovely too but im here to defend the underrated half of the set.
Counterintuitive but the mocha disappears under white shirts better than my white bras do! If you're pale like me the dark satin just reads as shadow. Buy the color for that trick alone.
I bought the cream as a treat and hung it up before trying it. It made the whole set feel a bit more expensive.
The little lace edge and bow are finished better than I expected. It does not feel fancy, just nicely made.
It is pretty and holds enough for my DD, but I would not count on it for a long day out.
The lace edge felt smooth on my skin. I expected it to be stiff, but it sat flat in the white.
the black is tidy under darker tops and the shape holds. it came a bit flat in the pouch but relaxed after a day
the cocoa is noticeably darker and more muted than the listing photo, still nice just not what i pictured
Good to know, Mallory. The cocoa does photograph lighter than it wears, we will get a truer image up. x
I wore this under a loose ivory shirt with a low button for dinner. The color looked soft instead of stark white, and the set felt pretty without adding much volume. I did adjust the band once after sitting.
Satin sounds sweaty for July but the lace panels vent enough that it never got swampy. Cups hold their shape damp or dry. Would prefer a cotton lined band for real heat waves, hence four stars.
