Wore it under a slip dress to dinner and the lace edge stayed hidden. Cups are lower cut than my usual, but nothing shifted while eating or driving. Would not trust it for a low neckline though.
the cups are thin like a second layer of skin which is the whole point. im small chested and molded bras always gap on me at the top. this lays flat, 32A, no gap, no padding pretending i have more than i do. wire is there but polite about it.
Fast is an understatement, ordered it wednesday night half asleep and it was in my mailbox saturday morning. As for the bra itself, sage green with the pink lace overlay is even prettier in daylight than the listing shows. Fit is standard for me, 36C no surprises. Four stars only because the matching brief has less stretch than the bra and feels a size smaller than labeled.
on at 8am, still on at 10pm, and i never once thought about it. the medium coverage means no adjusting when i lean over my laptop. sage is my favorite color i own now.
i was skeptical that cups this thin could support a 32C without foam. they do, the w shaped wire does the actual work and the lace just lies on top. no bounce when i take the stairs. straps stay parallel in the back instead of sliding toward my neck.
Wore it through a heat wave week. No sweat pooling, no sticking, the thin cups actually breathe. Fit was true to size for my 32A. The lace edge curls a touch out of the wash, flattens as you wear it.
One order, bra and brief in the same lace, zero hunting through drawers to assemble a set!
Color on my screen and color in my hands are the same color. Rare.
I measured myself with a tape like the size guide says instead of guessing off my old bras, came out 34D and thats exactly what fits. My old bras were all 36C which explains alot about my life. The whisper thin cup thing is real, theres no molded foam so your natural shape is what you get. Took a week to stop expecting padding when I looked down. Wire is soft and sits flat against the ribs. Only reason its not five stars is the eyelash lace edge curls a little after washing, I smooth it with my fingers and move on
Delicate looking lace, surprisingly solid construction. Nothing loose after three weeks
Tried a $90 version of this exact idea at a boutique last year!! This is the same lightness for less than half
You can do the hooks one handed behind your back, they line up and catch on the first try. Whoever designed the closure has actually worn a bra. Cups run low cut so check your necklines.
got the sage first and im already back on the site! the pink lace against the green is so much nicer in person. sizing was spot on for my 34A.
Other shops give a garter or second brief at this price.
Fair comparison. We put the budget into the lace and the wire rather than a third piece, but I hear you on wanting more in the box.
Measured twice, chart said 32C, real answer was 32B!! The cups wrinkle at the top and the band rides. Do yourself a favor and size down if you land between numbers. Returning for the smaller one because the bra itself is lovely.
Michelle, thank you for the exchange patience. Our chart runs generous at the C line for smaller bands and you're the second to catch it, so we're re-measuring that row this month.
Wore it under a thin white button down to the office. The mesh back disappears, the front reads as a faint texture only if someone is standing rude close. Cant do that with any padded bra I own.
finally a bra that lifts without shoving everything to my chin. 38C and the wire actually matches where my chest starts, if your between sizes id still say get your measured size.
Fell asleep on the couch in it twice now... woke up with zero wire marks both times. If regular underwires leave dents in your ribs, this soft w shape one is worth trying
the bra is honestly gorgeous, featherweight, fits my 36A shape better than bras costing triple. so it pains me that the matching brief is cut for someone with narrower hips than the size name suggests. the lace side panels dig in and roll, and after an hour i was aware of them in a way underwear should never make you aware. tried washing and stretching them over a towel, helped a little but not enough. keeping the bra, brief lives in the drawer. would buy again as bra only if that option existed.
The brief being cut narrower than the bra deserves is a real pattern issue, not your hips. We're regrading the bottoms for the next run. Email us and we'll send the new version when it lands.
briefs run small!!
caught myself in the mirror and stood there a second, the sage with pink lace is just pretty! if your deciding between colors this one photographs cooler but wears warmer.
four washes in, no warping!! delicate bag is deffinately the way, my friend machine washed hers loose and the wire twisted. treat it right and youre fine.
